NetMeeting is a quickly evolving collaboration platform. To
take advantage of improving performance and the most advanced
features, you have to make sure that you are using the most recent
version of the collaboration application suite.
There are many ways of determining the version of
your current installation.
Here are two of them:
Locate version information in the about
box
Unless your collaboration
environment is already running, you have to start it from your
startup menus. When the program is open you will have no difficulty
in finding the master program. Select the menu commands
Help - About Microsoft NetMeeting. This will display a
dialog containing the version information and a copyright
note.
Check the version stamp of the NM manager
Select the Find command from your Startup menu and locate the conf.exe NetMeeting manager application. Use the secondary mouse button to have a look at the program properties. Select the Version tab of the property sheet. Find the version information in the 'Product Version' parameter.
