There are actually quite a few news groups which bear relevance on real-time conferencing. One way of locating topics of interest is by logging on to a new search engine such as the Google Groups search site.

Here are a couple of addresses to forums dedicated in particular to the NetMeeting collaboration program suite:

The NetMeeting listserver is an alternative to news groups, which differs a bit in format but not so much in content.
